"We checked in late night, sadly they have no room for the type of room that I have paid. I paid for executive room and the manager said that they are overbooked hence, can only give me a standard room (thats the only room left for that day). Helllowww, I have prepaid all my rooms and yet the hotel gave my room to someone who paid even lesser than me. The manager said things happened and it is better next time to book direcly with the hotel, not via third party. So I told them, that is not an...

"The staff were very helpful and friendly and when I realised that there was no lift and it would be difficult for me to climb all the stairs to the top floor they relocated me to a floor with fewer stairs. The room was comfortable and quiet and the location is excellent"

"The hotel and location are excellent. We stayed for 3 nights with friends. We included breakfast with our room, which we all felt had a nice variety. The staff was outstanding and extremely kind and helpful. The reason for 4 stars, is I felt our room could have been cleaner for a 5 star hotel. The common areas were immaculate, however the housekeeping for the room service was lacking a bit. We didn't complain, however had it been cleaner, it would have been a 5 star review. The beds are...

"The Strand Palace hotel was a perfect location for me to visit The LSE. It’s also close to West End theatres. My room 135 was clean and quiet (tiny though), their housekeeping service was good (except for one hiccup), they also provide a Nespresso-style machine with three capsules a day, electric teakettle with some teabags, a bottle of water and a couple of cookies which was a great help in the mornings. I got the impression that it was very well run. I’d return in a minute, depending on the...

"The room is significantly smaller than expected but if you're just using it as your base of operations in London it's suitable. There is _very_ limited storage space."

"A great location and well priced for the location."

"Helpful staff. One downside was that the larger trash cans on room floors was by the elevator. Each morning when we left residents had left take-out containers from the night before in the trash near the elevators and caused a bad smell."

"I had a fantastic stay at St. David's Hotels, Paddington. The hotel is a 3-miunte walk from Paddington Station which made it extremely convenient getting to/from Heathrow because both the Elizabeth Line, and the Heathrow Express operate from Paddington Station. Plus, the front desk staffer, Muzu, was extremely helpful about local recommendations, the history of the hotel, and always had a positive disposition. The hotel is a well-maintained, older property, situated in Norfolk Square....

"We transferred to this hotel after arriving at another hotel that was a terrible experience from the start. The Park Plaza was a breath of fresh air after that experience and I completely wish we would have known and could have booked here first. The staff was kind and welcoming from check in to departure day. Hotel is clean and beautiful and in a good location with lots of modern amenities. I am also very appreciative of the hotel’s focus on being eco conscious. I would definitely recommend...

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Honey Pod. Communication and instructions before arrival were wonderful and made everything so easy. The space itself is compact but has everything you need — a cozy kitchen/lounge area, comfortable bedroom, and clean bathroom. The wood burner hot tub in the garden was such a treat, perfect for relaxing under the stars. It’s beautifully secluded and feels like you’re tucked away in the middle of nowhere — peaceful, quiet, and magical. Highly recommend for...

"Great old hotel in London. Worth noting it’s a big tourist hotel so you occasionally get huge coach loads of people in but the reception and staff are fantastic."

"I was surprised how much I enjoyed my 2 night stay here. All credit to the staff from check in to the dining room to room service. Unlike many businesses, the Bailey clearly knows how to hire, train and retrain plenty of wonderful smiley helpful people. Thank you! Other notables, excellent sheets & towels, well designed bathrooms, lovely original stained glass windows overlooking huge Victorian staircase."
